- Description: TRIPTYCH OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION. Oil on Oak. Center panel: height 80 cm. Width 75 cm. Bruges 1614 (date left outer panel) left and right the two figures that Mary knew well: John the Baptist and John the Evangelist. The exterior depicts Saint Clare and Saint Catherine of Siena. In the Center Mary in Halo with the dragon at her feet. Around her invocations from the Laurentane litany, so called because these invocations were printed at Loretto in 1576. The honorific titles of Mary listed here are: Speculum sine macula; Fons signatus; Templum Dei; Hortus conclusus; Quasi Palma; Putaeus Aquorum; Turris Davidica; Civitas Dei.
