Triptych with embroidered Saints in Oak case.
Gothic.
"In the central panel of this triptych, Jesus sits on the clouds in a mandorla with his arms outstretched towards his followers. On his chest, His Sacred Heart and a cross formed a nimbus around his head. The right panel shows Saint Elisabeth of Thuringia with Crown, fruits and roses and a book. The left panel shows Saint Anthony of Padua with the infant Jesus and a lily as a sign of chastity. The Saints are housed in an oak cabinet with pinnacles and floral carvings in neo-Gothic style.”
The triptych was made around 1875. The embroidery is of stunning quality.
