Joseph Herring

 

There are records showing Joseph Herring, a watchmaker, apprenticed to John Lorimer of St. Mary’s, Whitechapel on 23 Feb 1761 for 5 years and the sum of £21. Baillie records this maker as working in Farringdon in 1793 and states that he was a Liveryman of the Clockmakers Company from 1767 to 1804.
Joseph Herring of London is listed as working between 1767-1804 and as Liveryman of the Clockmakers Company.
